Launching the blog of Alexandria University

In the name of Allah, the compassionate and merciful

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Kurdi, the President of the University,
And under the chairmanship and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ghada Abdel Moneim Mousa, Acting Dean of Faculty of Arts.
The following is a review of the blog's vision, objectives and sponsors:
Scientific societies that arise from scientific communication with blogs correspond more to scientists and researchers than to personal blogs whose members are family members, friends, classmates, coworkers, and others who publish in the blog about their daily lives, they naturally know each other in life Realism_ and their communication through the blog is only an extension of this knowledge.
The specialized scientific blogs, which are published by those interested in specialized scientific subjects, are a rich source of specialized knowledge they are looking for, and because of their participation in these blogs, the participants in these blogs have become basic units of the scientific information and communication system; which led some to believe that the communities that emerged from communication through these blogs “Scientific blog communities” will be the Foundation stone to build the virtual colleges; these colleges, which transcend the barriers of space, time, economic and functional constraints to establish the colleges, and provide a wider scope for participation, and more appropriate for scientific communication and then a faster growth of knowledge from electronic colleges; making the first impact on scientific development no less than the impact of the latter.
The results of one study(Cofino, Kim ,2009)  have shown that the Internet has become a modern alternative to Printed media for scientific communication through scientific blogs and social networking services, as the following figure shows the power and importance of communicating with a global audience across the web.
